Important Free REVS Check Update

On 30 January 2012, the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) combined all Australian security interest registers, including the Register of Encumbered Vehicles (REVS). To offset costs, the PPSR now incurs a fee.

The PPSR can have an impact on any business or individual who supplies goods on conditional sale or lease, or who plans to purchase valuable personal property.

PPSR information for businesses is also available via PPSR.com.au. Businesses that are required to search and register security interests on the PPSR can access such services through PPSR.com.au.
